Name: Zari
Canon's Name: Isaac Lahey
Age: 16 or 17
Bithdate: It's not mentioned on the show, but I'd say he's 16 now and I'll set october 11th for his birthday if that's okay
[b]Personality: Isaac often uses his cocky and sarcastic exterior to hide his actual vulnerability. He tries to mask the fact that the years of abuse from his father have left him with a low self-confidence. He's extremely loyal to his friends and tries to just find a way to fit in somewhere. He can become very defensive and is often provoked easily, sometimes worrying that he's inherited his father's aggressiveness. He can come across as quite negative, which is also a leftover from being put down by his father for most of his life. Depending on the other person, Isaac is either very sceptical towards someone and reluctant to trust them, or he'll do anything he's asked just to please someone and to feel like he belongs.
Race: Werewolf
History of how your character became what he/she is now? After his mother and brother died, Isaac's father began drinking more and more. He gradually became aggressive against his son and started hitting and then severely beating Isaac. Mr.Lahey developped cruel ways to punish Isaac, the worst one being locking him into the freezer in the basement for hours. Derek somehow found out about his father's abuse and offered Isaac the bite. The boy didn't have to think about it for very long because he just wanted to escape his father and fit in somewhere. After a while, Isaac began to doubt Derek's qualities as a leader and started to turn more and more to Scott, trusting him and feeling loyal to him.
General History: Isaac started to feel that Scott had actually become more of an alpha to him than Derek was and there was no question about whether to follow him to Crystal Waters or not. He didn't have any family left and Scott and his friends and his Mom were everything he had, so he moved to the unknown town with them, no questions asked.
RP Sample: (this happens before Isaac's transformation)
Isaac stands in front of the bathroom mirror as he grimaces while touching the bruised skin around his eye. He didn't know how to behave around his father anymore. Everything he said seemed to get him angry and there was no escaping his wrath. He'd either end up beaten, locked into the freezer or both and he didn't know how to take this anymore. He took a few deep breaths as he ran his right hand through his curls and tried to calm down and not allow the tears, that were threatening to fill his eyes, to come out. He opened up the cupboard behind the mirror and grabbed a bottle of painkillers, throwing a few of them into his mouth and bending down to swallow them with some water from the tab.
„Get yourself together!“, he said to his reflection as he looked into the mirror and took another deep breath. He looked at his watch and realized that he'd have to get on his way in a few minutes if he wanted to be on time for his shift at the cemetary. He really shouldn't give his father another reason to get angry at him, so he went to his bedroom, put on his jacket and sneakers and went outside, getting onto his bike to ride to work.
